[[古森]]を進む[[四人のホビット>旅人たち]]が森の放つ悪意のために気が滅入る中、[[フロド・バギンズ]]が皆を元気づけようと歌った歌。
だがフロドの声は最後の「果てる」の語を言い終わらないうちにかき消えてしまった。
