『[[The Letters of J.R.R.Tolkien]]』に収録されている[[トールキン>ジョン・ロナルド・ロウエル・トールキン]]の手紙の一つ。宛先人はHugh Brogan。日付はないが、1948年のクリスマスに書かれたと思われる。
[[エレボール方式のキルス>キルス#erebor]]及び[[フェアノール文字>フェアノール文字#letter118]]の二つの方式で英文が書かれている。

上段のキルスは次の通り。

中段は母音を記号で表す方式のフェアノール文字で次の文が書かれている。
