昔の時代を思い出した[[木の鬚]]が[[メリー>メリアドク・ブランディバック]]と[[ピピン>ペレグリン・トゥック]]のために歌って聴かせた歌。彼が[[ベレリアンド]]の地を歩いたことが歌われている。
