かつて[[ローハン]]のある詩人が初代の王[[エオル>エオル（レーオドの息子）]]について歌った歌。
[[エドラス]]にやってきた[[アラゴルン二世]]は、塚原を通り過ぎるときに[[ローハン語]]でこの歌を歌った。そして彼は言葉が分からない[[レゴラス]]と[[ギムリ]]のために[[共通語]]で以下のように訳した。
